Responsibilities

  • Develop, design, maintain, and enhance scalable web applications for AIMTC systems.
  • Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with technical direction and government schedules.
  • Apply software engineering principles, data structures, algorithms, code quality standards, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and maintain application functionality through regular updates and enhancements.
  • Integrate and maintain MSSQL and MySQL databases within application architectures.
  • Follow confidentiality, integrity, and availability principles to support system security and data integrity.
  • Prepare software documentation and maintain DITPR-DON entries for approved AIMTC production changes.
  • Evaluate the impact of approved changes on performance, reliability, maintainability, availability, logistics support, safety, and lifecycle cost.
  • Ensure Section 508 compliance and submit and verify code through required CI/CD pipeline tools.
  • Provide bid and proposal support when requested and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance is required.
  • Master's degree in Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a computer science concentration, from an accredited university.
  • Five to seven years of experience in computer design, software development, or computer networks.
  • Experience developing software with React, using Git and branching strategies, applying Agile methodologies, utilizing containers, and developing in a cloud environment.
  • Basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
  • Ability to remain seated for 50% of the time and alternate between sitting, standing, and walking.
