Senior Software Engineer - Collaborative Web Platform

Responsibilities
- Own significant features and platform components from technical design through production delivery
- Build backend services, APIs, and frontend systems for a real-time collaborative content platform
- Contribute to architectural decisions and help define team quality standards
- Write clean, well-tested code without dedicated QA support
- Mentor and support SE II engineers through code review, pairing, and technical guidance
- Collaborate with product and design to turn ambiguous requirements into technical plans
- Integrate AI tooling into the development workflow and product
- Help establish team processes, standards, and engineering culture
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience
- Production experience across backend systems and frontend applications, including APIs, cloud infrastructure, data services, component systems, browser performance, and interactive UIs
- Strong API design experience with REST, GraphQL, and webhooks
- Experience designing and operating cloud-native services in GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Depth in frontend architecture, component modeling, state management, and rendering performance
- Experience with real-time or collaborative systems is a meaningful plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Active, concrete experience building with AI through product integrations or developer tooling
