Responsibilities
- Drive technical initiatives from solution conception through production-ready implementation.
- Shape system architecture and identify improvements for scalable, maintainable, and secure microservice systems.
- Maintain production systems, participate in the on-call rotation, and investigate root causes and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and frontend stakeholders to deliver high-quality features.
- Support knowledge sharing through documentation, RFCs, ADRs, and team alignment meetings.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience with Java and Spring Boot or a relevant stack.
- Expertise in building testable, maintainable, and extensible systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to engineering best practices.
- Proficiency with event-driven communication patterns and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Experience with AWS and Docker.
