Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain client-side code for desktop and mobile games.
- Develop, debug, modify, and support in-game features and operational tools.
- Work on client/server applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
- Identify tools and process improvements that help the development team deliver gaming products.
- Contribute to new games and game features.
- Help team members resolve technical issues and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5–8 years of software development experience.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, including its quirks and workarounds.
- Experience with data structures and familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience with IDEs, debuggers, and bug-tracking tools.
- Proficiency with version-control tools such as Git, CVS, and SVN.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming techniques and languages.
- Preferred: knowledge of ReactJS, AngularJS, jQuery, NodeJS, Grunt, Java, C++, Python, distributed application development, UI development, animations, and game development.
