Responsibilities
- Review product requirements and design specifications to create effective test plans and detailed test cases.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated UI and API tests, including end-to-end, reliability, and scalability testing.
- Collaborate with engineering management to scope, plan, and estimate quality engineering work.
- Document and communicate quality engineering plans, test strategies, and risks to scrum teams.
- Review application code to identify defects, gaps in test coverage, and potential areas of weakness.
- Design and implement test frameworks and tools to improve automation coverage and efficiency.
- Automate all critical features to maintain a zero test debt approach.
- Ensure features are released with high confidence in quality and stability.
- Participate in on-call rotations to respond to production alerts and customer-reported issues.
- Act as a strong customer advocate with a deep focus on quality and user experience.
