Responsibilities
- Translate domain expertise into value for the product, business unit, and customers.
- Define and deliver large-scale projects while balancing multiple constraints and customer goals.
- Design technical solutions that address competing customer needs.
- Identify and correct approaches that do not effectively serve customer requirements.
- Help set longer-term strategy for business projects.
- Lead the quality of the team’s technical work, including code and software designs.
- Mentor and raise the skill level of less experienced team members.
Requirements
- 12–15 years of previous professional experience.
- Strong programming experience with Java and JavaScript.
- Experience developing microservices using Spring Boot.
- Experience developing, deploying, and supporting cloud-native SaaS applications.
- Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms, including GCP, AWS, and/or Azure.
- Experience designing scalable distributed systems using caching, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous processing and high-performance application design.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with applying AI technologies to modern software engineering workflows.
- Experience using AI tools for code generation, test automation, debugging, documentation, and developer productivity improvements.
