Responsibilities
- Execute the quality assurance lifecycle across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and release.
- Create test plans and test cases, execute manual and automated tests, and track and manage defects.
- Test thick-client desktop applications, web applications, and web services/APIs.
- Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end automated testing using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Ranorex.
- Collaborate with QA team members, developers, and cross-functional teams in an Agile-leaning software lifecycle.
- Create and maintain clear end-user and administrator documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Five or more years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, test case design, defect tracking, and test execution.
- Experience testing desktop applications, web applications, and web services/APIs.
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
- Experience with test management and application lifecycle management tools such as Azure DevOps or OpenText ALM.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Basic to intermediate programming or scripting experience, particularly in Java or C#, is desired.
- Experience performing QA activities in Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services is desired.
- QA-related certifications are a plus.
