Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to solve complex technical problems and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Translate requirements into engineering designs, break down work, and provide clarity for team members.
- Build robust and reusable RAG and agentic AI solutions using relevant frameworks and tools.
- Experiment with emerging AI-assisted engineering tools and cloud services and provide feedback from real-world testing.
- Contribute to architectural discussions, technical standards, code reviews, documentation, and cross-functional projects.
- Coach and mentor junior team members while helping maintain high-quality codebases.
Requirements
- At least 11 years of experience designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, and reliable software solutions.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML and generative AI applications and their use in improving software engineering productivity.
- Experience building RAG systems with LlamaIndex, LangChain, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with agentic AI systems using AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, Pydantic, or similar frameworks is preferred.
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or C#, with experience developing microservices on AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Strong interest in researching AI tooling and regular use of AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Continue, GitHub Copilot, Aider, or Cline.
- Knowledge of Anthropic Claude, Llama, LiteLLM, Windsurf/Codeium, Vercel, LangGraph, or Hugging Face is highly desirable.
- Strong technical leadership and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
