Responsibilities
- Own the data and digital proposition technology strategy and execution for Asset Servicing and Corporate Actions processing.
- Identify and deliver technology-led transformation, process redesign, workflow automation, data remediation, digital servicing, and client experience improvements.
- Develop and maintain a roadmap covering client reporting, data exchange, API connectivity, workflow digitisation, and self-service propositions.
- Lead the identification, assessment, implementation, governance, and adoption of AI use cases for data processing, quality improvement, exception management, workflow optimisation, and client servicing.
- Partner with business, product, operations, architecture, engineering, data, risk, and control teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
- Define and track outcomes including client satisfaction, information access, manual processing, data quality, straight-through processing, control effectiveness, and operational risk.
- Champion continuous improvement and move propositions from concept through production adoption.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in the custody domain, preferably Asset Servicing or Corporate Actions, with understanding of custody operations, settlement, reconciliations, books and records, client servicing, data management, and operational resilience.
- Experience applying specification-driven development practices, acceptance criteria, testable requirements, measurable outcomes, and delivery controls to AI solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience in data strategy, data-led proposition development, and using data to improve client outcomes, operational performance, and decision-making.
- Proven hands-on experience leading digital experience, digital servicing, or proposition design initiatives in financial services or another complex regulated environment.
- Track record of delivering technology-led business transformation from strategy and discovery through implementation, adoption, and measurable benefits.
- Mandatory experience using and implementing AI projects within Asset Servicing or closely related Securities Services activities, including production delivery, data requirements, governance, and responsible AI.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with modern technology and digital delivery capabilities including APIs, data platforms, workflow automation, integration, cloud-enabled services, and data visualisation.
- Ability to translate complex business and operational needs into propositions, investment cases, delivery roadmaps, and success measures.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across business, technology, operations, product, risk, compliance, and regional teams.
- Strategic, commercially minded, collaborative approach with sound judgement and focus on client experience, resilience, control effectiveness, and sustainable growth.
