Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Support software testing and quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle, including integration, regression, functional, system, and operational testing.
- Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, procedures, scripts, and manual or automated test cases.
- Support integration validation, operational readiness assessments, verification and validation, and release validation activities.
- Document, track, and validate software defects, discrepancies, corrective actions, and test results.
- Collaborate with developers, systems engineers, cybersecurity personnel, integration teams, and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Participate in Agile planning, backlog refinement, technical reviews, release validation, root-cause analysis, incident response, and operational troubleshooting.
- Support automated testing, CI/CD integration testing, DevSecOps quality assurance, readiness metrics, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure testing complies with security, configuration management, and quality assurance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience; an additional four years of experience may substitute for the degree.
- Active Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain a Top Secret clearance after joining the program.
- Experience with software testing, quality assurance, integration validation, test planning, test procedures, test scripts, defect tracking, and operational troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, space, missile defense, command-and-control, or other operational mission environments.
- Familiarity with Agile development and software development lifecycle processes.
- Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows operating environments.
- Desired qualifications include an active Top Secret clearance, experience with NORAD, USSPACECOM, Space Force, missile warning, space domain awareness, satellite ground systems, or enterprise mission systems.
- Desired qualifications include automated testing, CI/CD pipeline testing, classified integration and operational testing, DevSecOps, secure software testing, and verification and validation experience.
- Experience with Jira, Zephyr, Confluence, GitLab, Jenkins, Selenium, or similar testing platforms is preferred.
- Security+ or another DoD 8140/8570-compliant certification is preferred.
