Base Salary

$80k - $128k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Support integration, regression, functional, system, and operational software testing and quality assurance across the software development lifecycle.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, procedures, scripts, and automated and manual test cases.
  • Support integration validation, verification and validation, release testing, and operational readiness assessments.
  • Document, track, and validate software defects, discrepancies, corrective actions, and technical issues.
  • Collaborate with software developers, systems engineers, cybersecurity personnel, integration teams, and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Maintain testing documentation, test reports, operational procedures, readiness metrics, and quality assurance records.
  • Support automated testing, integration testing, operational troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident response activities.
  • Participate in Agile development activities, technical reviews, release validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure testing activities comply with security, configuration management, and quality assurance standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 0 years of experience; four additional years of experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Active Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain a Top Secret clearance after joining the program.
  • Foundational experience in software testing, quality assurance, integration validation, or operational testing in DoD, aerospace, cyber, enterprise IT, or mission-focused environments.
  • Familiarity with test plans, test procedures, test scripts, operational testing, defect tracking, and software development lifecycle processes.
  • Experience troubleshooting software and system integration issues in Linux and/or Windows environments.
  • Ability to collaborate across engineering, software development, cybersecurity, integration, and operations teams.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include an active Top Secret clearance, experience with NORAD, USSPACECOM, Space Force, missile warning, space domain awareness, satellite ground systems, command-and-control systems, or classified mission environments.
  • Preferred qualifications include familiarity with automated testing frameworks, pipeline testing, DevSecOps, verification and validation, and secure software testing practices.
  • Experience with Jira, Zephyr, Confluence, GitLab, Jenkins, Selenium, or similar testing platforms is preferred.
  • Security+, Linux, cloud, or related technical certifications are preferred.

Benefits

  • Target salary range is $80,000–$128,000 in base pay, with potential eligibility for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus.
  • The position is contingent upon contract award.
  • The role supports classified defense and national security missions and requires an active Secret clearance.
