Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Management, Design, and Data on discovery, ideation, prototyping, experimentation, and solution shaping.
- Define and guide technical approaches, architecture, system design, and pragmatic technical trade-offs.
- Design scalable, maintainable applications, services, APIs, enterprise integrations, and supporting platforms.
- Collaborate with SAP specialists, architects, platform teams, and engineering partners to evaluate enterprise capabilities and integration options.
- Provide hands-on engineering leadership through development, solution design, code reviews, testing, and complex technical problem-solving.
- Establish automated testing, CI/CD, observability, security, reliability, transactional integrity, data accuracy, traceability, and performance practices.
- Use product, user, and operational insights to improve solutions and manage technical debt.
- Mentor engineers, provide technical guidance, contribute to engineering standards and reusable approaches, and support hiring and onboarding.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience designing, building, and delivering production-grade applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and proficiency with modern programming languages, software development frameworks, and engineering practices.
- Experience designing and developing applications, services, APIs, and integrations in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, cloud technologies, and integration patterns.
- Experience with ERP or other enterprise platforms and integrating with or extending existing capabilities.
- Demonstrated architectural judgment, technical leadership, hands-on contribution, code review, mentoring, and effective collaboration.
- Preferred experience with SAP-based enterprise environments, SAP S/4HANA, BRIM, FI-CA, SAP BTP, SAP integration and extensibility, ERP or billing systems, financial transaction processing, cloud-native applications, event-driven architectures, data integration, automation, analytics, or AI.
Benefits
- Annual base pay range is $171,000–$198,000, with an annual incentive reference value of 30%.
- A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits is offered depending on the position.
- Based in Atlanta, United States, with 0%–25% travel required.
- Relocation is provided.
