Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and user stories to identify gaps and prevent issues.
- Create and maintain test cases and develop test plans and strategies.
- Execute functional, system, integrated, regression, UI, usability, accessibility, compatibility, and exploratory testing.
- Detect, report, track, and communicate system defects and inconsistencies.
- Lead testing efforts for operational changes and support testing for enterprise projects.
- Provide testing support across multiple application teams and platforms with little or no assistance.
- Lead planning and issue status meetings and provide accurate testing progress updates.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, System Administrators, and other cross-functional teams.
- Mentor new employees on department procedures and testing methodologies.
Requirements
- A four-year degree, CCUE Certification, or an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree through the North Carolina College Transfer Program.
- Combination of education and experience, including required experience as a software tester or in a similar role.
- Two to five years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of testing best practices and methodologies.
- Required experience with test management software.
- Exposure to test automation tools and concepts.
- Understanding of system architecture for supported applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Fluent English communication and ability to work independently and in team environments.
