Base Salary
$75k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create test plans, test cases/scripts, bug reports, and other testing documentation.
- Automate product features to improve regression coverage and triage automation results.
- Conduct functional QA testing, verify outcomes, and assess quality and release risks.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, quality engineers, and quality management in an Agile environment.
- Participate in architecture and code-level discussions and influence quality-focused design and implementation decisions.
- Provide technical quality expertise and guidance to junior teammates.
- Conduct proof-of-concepts, recommend quality improvements, and enhance code coverage tools and metrics.
- Develop product expertise, help roll out quality processes, contribute technically, and support the QA manager.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience, including software development and/or software test automation.
- Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and approaches, including black-box and automated testing.
- Experience writing and automating test cases covering sanity, boundary, negative, compatibility, and concurrency testing.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be located in the Eastern Time Zone.
- Preferred experience with JavaScript, Java, Python, object-oriented programming, Atlassian products, TestRail, functional test automation frameworks, Cucumber, Selenium, TestNG, or Playwright.
- Preferred experience in SaaS, Agile development, remote teams, and the health or life sciences industry.
