Base Salary
$140k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Turn ambiguous client problems into production software and deployed AI solutions.
- Build agentic workflows and applied AI pipelines for RAG, structured extraction, OCR/document AI, and agent orchestration.
- Create lightweight frontends or app-builder-style interfaces for client solutions.
- Build evaluation harnesses and golden datasets to validate AI pipeline performance.
- Drive client projects end-to-end from discovery through deployment.
- Collaborate closely with client stakeholders and internal teams, including on-site or close-contact engagement work.
- Contribute to internal platform capabilities and advocate for engineering best practices as an early engineer.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience building production LLM or agent pipelines involving RAG, structured extraction, or agent orchestration.
- Ability to handle client engagement needs, including light frontend development when required.
- Practical ability to evaluate whether an AI system solves the client's problem.
- Strong client-facing communication, collaboration, emotional intelligence, and comfort with ambiguity.
- Willingness to work on-site or closely with client stakeholders as engagements require.
- Experience in startup and enterprise environments is preferred.
- Experience in energy, real estate, utilities, climate, or related fields is preferred.
- Additional experience with web frameworks, C++, Rust, GraphQL, WebSockets, ML libraries, graph or vector databases, DevOps tooling, or generative AI is preferred.
