Base Salary
$142k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to understand functional and operational requirements.
- Lead the design and implementation of robust, testable application code.
- Develop non-functional features that improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Contribute to automated test-suite design and implementation.
- Participate in code reviews and help improve other team members’ code.
- Collaborate with global development, quantitative analytics, and application support organizations.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant application development experience.
- At least 5 years of Java experience and expert-level Java development skills.
- Experience analyzing and programming software applications, particularly for performance and testability.
- Familiarity with KDB, Apache Flink, Kafka, profiling, debugging, and monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of interest-rate products and associated pricing and risk calculations.
- Risk or fixed-income knowledge is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience working in a mature, large-scale collaborative development environment.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Ability to proactively adjust priorities and challenge current practices.
