Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy AI systems that solve customer problems and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Develop prototypes, evaluation harnesses, and reference implementations for AI solutions.
- Build and productionize end-to-end agentic AI solutions within Karbon’s application.
- Evaluate AI systems using representative data, graders, production signals, human judgment, and broader impact considerations.
- Make technical decisions across models, agents, retrieval, tools, data, reliability, observability, latency, cost, safety, security, and governance.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and full-stack developers.
- Build and maintain scalable services while supporting operational stability, quality, and post-release ownership.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering or machine learning engineering.
- Experience developing agentic AI solutions and deploying them to production environments.
- High proficiency in Python and comfort working across an AI application stack.
- Strong understanding of systematic AI evaluation using representative data, graders, production signals, and human judgment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with C# and React, LangChain, OpenAI SDK, or Google ADK is advantageous.
- MLOps, platform, Azure, and Databricks experience is advantageous.
- Examples of agentic AI products developed and launched to customers are advantageous.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills are advantageous.
