Base Salary
$99k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and secure container platforms and custom container-management software for client needs.
- Build container images and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes, Rancher, or EKS.
- Manage Helm-deployed tools with ArgoCD or Flux and write custom Helm charts.
- Automate server and network configurations, software deployments, monitoring, and testing through infrastructure-as-code environments.
- Support production applications and critical cloud platforms while informing platform strategy and design.
- Evaluate and mitigate container security vulnerabilities and recommend resources for secure container adoption.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in an AWS cloud environment.
- At least 5 years of experience with containerization, image building, and Kubernetes, Rancher, or EKS deployments.
- At least 4 years of experience with Helm, ArgoCD or Flux, custom Helm charts, and automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Terragrunt, or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Experience developing and supporting custom applications in production environments.
- Knowledge of container networking, monitoring, storage solutions, and container security technologies.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Active DoD 8140 Intermediate Level Certification.
- Preferred experience with Java or Python, Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Kibana, FluentD, AWS or Azure cloud environments, Jenkins, Git, TeamCity, Docker, VMware, Linux or UNIX administration, and scripting languages including Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby.
- Preferred knowledge of JSON, REST, XML, YAML, cloud and virtualization technologies, system administration, and Kubernetes Certification.
