Base Salary
$123k - $183k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and develop or significantly modify complex software applications and programs.
- Design components and develop, test, debug, maintain, and enhance source code.
- Develop unit test cases and complex test scripts.
- Execute system, integration, and regression testing.
- Analyze complex technical problems and recommend software and design solutions.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and contribute technical alternatives.
- Understand customer and business requirements, define design reasoning, and assess design impacts.
- Track backlogs, burndown metrics, and incremental delivery.
- Mentor junior team members as needed.
Requirements
- A master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, or a related field plus three years of relevant experience.
- Alternatively, a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, or a related field plus four years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrable experience with Git, Python, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Experience developing for multiple platforms, including AWS or a similar cloud provider.
- Knowledge of software development concepts and processes, Scrum, cloud-first development, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with layered systems architectures, shared software concepts, business operations, and IT industry issues.
- Strong consultative skills and the ability to apply customer requirements and recommend designs.
- Expertise with Kubernetes, including EKS, and Docker containers.
- Experience may be gained during a graduate program; suitable combinations of education, training, and experience will be accepted.
