Base Salary
$126k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for one or more software engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Define requirements with stakeholders and architect scalable, interoperable solutions for the EnterpriseRx platform.
- Implement solutions to complex engineering challenges and serve as technical lead across applications and functional areas.
- Develop and review user stories and write and execute unit and integration tests.
- Diagnose and remediate defects, validate fixes, and improve surrounding code quality.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor peers, and establish standards for consistency, scalability, and reliability.
- Drive process and productivity improvements with Product, QA, SREs, Architects, and Project Management.
- Embed AI-assisted engineering across design, coding, testing, release, and operations.
- Present complex technical topics to business leaders and customers and contribute to senior-leadership discussions.
- Apply knowledge of retail pharmacy and clinical services to improve customer-facing products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java 17/21+, Spring Boot, and Gradle.
- Experience with object-oriented software engineering, RESTful services, event-driven systems such as Kafka, microservices, modular architecture, and API-first integration.
- Experience with OpenAPI, API gateway/OAuth2, relational databases, and SQL; Oracle experience is an example qualification.
- Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Snowflake is preferred.
- Experience with performance monitoring and observability using logs, metrics, traces, and SLOs.
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, version-control systems, and collaborative workflows.
- Preferred experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, agent orchestration/MCP, Responsible AI, Azure cloud-native engineering, containers, Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, progressive delivery, and feature management.
- Experience with Angular and TypeScript for modern front-end or full-stack contributions.
- Experience using real-time metrics, performance data, incident trends, Confluence, and JIRA for technical strategy and roadmap alignment.
- Experience with manual and automated testing tools and frameworks, secure coding, and compliance in regulated healthcare environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to learn and implement new technologies and processes.

- Hybrid work arrangement; DFW-area candidates must work onsite at the Las Colinas office at least two days per week, with remaining days remote.
