Responsibilities
- Engineer and operate detections and response workflows using Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel.
- Lead M365 tenant hardening initiatives and maintain secure baselines.
- Administer endpoint security through Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Intune.
- Build and maintain security automation to enhance response efficiency.
- Own vulnerability assessment and remediation tracking in collaboration with IT teams.
- Secure Azure infrastructure and manage Microsoft Purview for data governance.
- Strengthen identity and access management practices across the firm.
- Document security standards and communicate posture and incidents to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Defender XDR, Microsoft Sentinel, and KQL.
- Experience with M365 tenant hardening and Azure infrastructure security.
- Proficient in security automation and vulnerability assessment.
- Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience in a law firm or regulated environment is preferred.
- 4–7+ years of experience as a Security Engineer in a large organization.
