Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain ThreatLocker's macOS endpoint agent and supporting components.
- Develop secure macOS services, background processes, and user-facing applications.
- Integrate macOS functionality with ThreatLocker's policy engine and management portal.
- Develop and maintain real-time policy enforcement for applications and network activity.
- Leverage Apple security technologies for enhanced security features.
- Build and improve user interfaces using AppKit and SwiftUI.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and security across macOS versions.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues involving system permissions and networking.
- Research new macOS features and security changes for compatibility.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver new features and improve the platform.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional macOS software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
- Experience developing macOS applications, agents, or endpoint software.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex macOS issues involving permissions and networking.
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, production-quality code.
- Experience using source control systems such as Git.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
