Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and maintain PCTE systems across various secure environments.
- Apply system hardening techniques and enforce security baselines for virtual machines.
- Manage the transfer and synchronization of virtual content during training events.
- Configure and deploy secure virtual training environments.
- Collaborate with the Senior Test Officer on cybersecurity test and evaluation activities.
- Develop and maintain Cybersecurity Test Plans integrated into the Agile development cycle.
- Coordinate with agencies to validate test coverage and compliance.
- Stay updated with DoD cybersecurity standards and apply them to engineering efforts.
- Support the deployment and maintenance of RCS infrastructure.
- Perform quality assurance checks during system buildouts.
- Collaborate with development teams to create engineering specifications for cybersecurity solutions.
- Work with developers to maintain cybersecurity tools and platform services.
- Lead or assist in managing secure integrations with external systems.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering, or a related field, or five years of equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization tools such as VMware or KVM.
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows system hardening and baselining.
- Experience in vulnerability scanning, mitigation, and patch management.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools like Nessus, ACAS, Wireshark, and Splunk.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile workflows.
