Responsibilities
- Lead the development and scalability of the AI platform and integrate new AI advancements through APIs.
- Design, develop, and implement tools and frameworks for ML experimentation and deployment.
- Architect GPU and CPU resource management to improve model performance, cost efficiency, and utilization.
- Mentor junior team members and guide AI model integration into the platform.
- Create and manage data movement strategies and pipelines for AI model training and inference.
- Evaluate platform analytics and user feedback to lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional teams that connect technical AI expertise with business and user needs.
- Develop and enforce security protocols and governance measures for platform data integrity and industry compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the education requirement where applicable.
- Six years of experience executing and deploying data science, machine learning, deep learning, ML platform engineering, MLOps tools, and ML frameworks; fewer years may be accepted with a master’s or doctorate.
- Six years of programming experience in Java and/or Python.
- Four years of experience working with cross-functional partners.
- Preferred: master’s degree in a relevant STEM, statistics, physics, economics, data science, information science, or quantitative analytics field.
- Preferred: five years of experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, the Hadoop ecosystem, Druid, Trino, BigQuery, and Google Vertex AI.
- Preferred: six years of Python programming experience and two years of AI technology experience.
