Base Salary
$130k - $154k/yr
Responsibilities
- Align software initiatives with the platform’s technical and business roadmap.
- Design and develop technical solutions for new software development and enhancement efforts.
- Coordinate coding, unit testing, software design, and code review activities.
- Develop and contribute to domain solutions and execute implementation-plan changes.
- Communicate project status, technical updates, and recommended action plans to stakeholders.
- Coordinate team delivery timelines and quality and timeliness metrics.
- Coach, mentor, and delegate work to lower-level professionals.
- Evaluate scalable system designs and trade-offs involving performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 5 years of Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) experience required; 7 years preferred.
- Hands-on Java and J2EE development experience using Java 11 or later required.
- Experience with system design at scale, including performance, reliability, and maintainability trade-offs.
- Experience with SQL.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to hands-on mentorship and collaborative code reviews.
- Experience with Agile methodology and the software development life cycle.
- Experience with debugging, enterprise application integration, operating systems management, programming, software development, web application development, data analysis, and continuous integration and deployment.
