Base Salary
$119k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead complex and companywide technology initiatives with broad organizational impact.
- Drive enterprise-wide authentication solutions and AuthHub’s authentication vision across Digital, Contact Center, Branch, and Fraud ecosystems.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, and review complex large-scale technology solutions.
- Develop engineering standards and companywide best practices for technology solutions.
- Collaborate with technical experts, senior technology teams, business stakeholders, and external industry groups to resolve complex issues.
- Lead projects and teams and mentor engineers.
- Support architecture governance, technical roadmaps, reliability engineering, production support, and service health monitoring.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- At least 4 years of Java and Spring Boot development experience in API integration design.
- At least 3 years of microservices architecture and REST API design and versioning experience.
- At least 3 years of MongoDB experience.
- At least 2 years of Kafka experience.
- Strong enterprise authentication and identity verification expertise, including MFA, step-up authentication, authentication strength models, risk-based authentication, session management, token lifecycle, TTL, and authorization concepts.
- Experience with SLA/SLO management, performance testing, production support leadership, and incident management.
- Experience with Agile delivery leadership, cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management, and architecture discussions.
- Preferred banking industry experience in authentication and security, leadership and mentoring skills, technical roadmap development, architecture governance, and operational excellence.
- Prior experience using Agentic AI tools for software development lifecycle activities is desired.
