Responsibilities
- Lead complex technology initiatives with broad or companywide impact.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document software projects and programs.
- Develop engineering standards and companywide best practices for large-scale technology solutions.
- Review and analyze complex technology solutions against business objectives and enterprise technical requirements.
- Influence and lead technology teams to deliver initiatives and resolve complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with technical experts, senior technology teams, and external industry groups.
- Lead projects or teams and serve as a peer mentor.
- Provide mentoring and code reviews for a multi-domain support team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- At least 4 years of shared-services knowledge with microservices domain architecture on large platforms.
- At least 4 years of experience with Java Spring Boot services and REST-oriented architecture.
- At least 2 years of MongoDB experience.
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud-based platforms such as OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Preferred: at least 1 year of payments-domain knowledge and understanding of ISO 20022 standards in banking.
- Preferred: experience with automation frameworks, Karate, Postman, Kafka, file-based processing, Apigee Marketplace, and YugabyteDB.
- Preferred: experience leading multi-domain support teams, mentoring, communication, and code reviewing.
- Strong analytical, design, coordination, and self-directed execution skills.
