Base Salary
$159k - $305k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead complex software engineering initiatives across selected domains.
- Design, develop, test, and implement applications, system components, tools, utilities, models, simulations, and analytics for complex business functions.
- Build technology solutions that produce analytics on securities portfolios.
- Monitor systems to improve operational efficiency and mitigate risk.
- Resolve technically challenging coding, testing, and escalated platform issues.
- Lead teams in meeting compliance, risk management, and business objectives.
- Mentor less experienced software engineers.
- Collaborate with managers, portfolio professionals, product owners, architects, production support, and platform engineering teams.
Requirements
- At least five years of specialty software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- At least five years of experience with fixed income analytics.
- At least five years of experience with Java, C#, or JavaScript.
- At least three years of experience with mortgage-backed securities or equivalent.
- Preferred: at least five years of experience with cloud platforms, modern application architecture, APIs, microservices, DevOps, and CI/CD.
- Preferred: at least five years of experience with software design patterns and large terabyte-scale analytics data sets, including time series.
- Preferred: at least five years of experience with databases, preferably Oracle.
- Preferred: at least three years of experience with PolyPaths software and developing UI/UX using Angular or ReactJS.
- Preferred: at least one year of experience developing solutions using AI or agentic AI.
