Base Salary
$127k - $149k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support critical working capital finance applications.
- Build enterprise applications and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and cloud-native architectures.
- Analyze business scenarios, implement both expected and exceptional paths, and design for future volume growth.
- Deeply investigate testing and production issues by understanding expected behavior and root causes.
- Ensure product development follows compliance and security best practices.
- Respond independently to business needs, communications, and delivery deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Six to eight years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience with Java 17+ and object-oriented programming.
- Strong expertise with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, dependency injection, REST APIs, security, and the Spring ecosystem.
- Experience with MQ or Kafka, messaging platforms, event-driven architecture, and asynchronous system integration.
- Experience building and deploying microservices in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CloudBees, or equivalent enterprise pipeline technologies.
- Experience with Maven or Gradle and advanced knowledge of relational databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or DB2.
- Knowledge of software design patterns, system integration, API development, secure coding, and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience with Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, or MyBatis is preferred.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes deployment, container orchestration, and configuration management.
- Experience implementing secrets management and application security best practices.
- Exposure to React and modern front-end development frameworks.
- Experience in financial services, banking, lending, treasury, or working capital finance is preferred.
