Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and architecture of custom software and the AI agent builder platform.
- Architect and implement core platform components and reusable modules for agent orchestration, memory, and tool integration.
- Develop and deploy AI agents for internal and external business workflows.
- Evaluate and integrate Azure AI services and open-source libraries.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure scalable and consistent agent implementations.
- Monitor and optimize agent performance and reliability.
- Lead code reviews, testing, documentation, and internal developer enablement.
- Define and drive the team’s mission, vision, and long-term technical strategies.
- Influence and deliver high-impact initiatives while leading remote teams.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of experience is required; the technical profile also specifies 10+ years in software engineering and 5+ years in AI/ML systems.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Deep experience with Python, Azure ML, and LLM-based agent frameworks.
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering, RAG, and agent lifecycles.
- Experience with CI/CD, containerization, cloud-native development, and automated deployment processes.
- Strong production software engineering experience applying DevOps best practices.
- Understanding of security best practices for architecting SaaS applications on cloud infrastructure.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and cross-department collaboration skills.
- Ability to understand complex business systems and learn and apply new technologies.
