Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and TypeScript.
- Build secure microservices, APIs, responsive interfaces, streaming or chat-style experiences, and event-driven integrations using Kafka or equivalent technologies.
- Integrate commercial or open large language models such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, and Llama into generative AI applications.
- Contribute to RAG-backed applications, MCP-based tool integration, guardrails, Spring AI capabilities, structured outputs, and JSON contracts.
- Monitor development through analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support.
- Analyze complex business and system problems, recommend practical solutions, and develop security and control measures.
- Consult with users and technology groups, provide production support, communicate technical options, and help establish engineering standards.
- Conduct code reviews, document technical work, coach junior analysts, and share knowledge.
- Assess and escalate technology, compliance, and operational risks while safeguarding the firm, clients, and assets.
Requirements
- 7–9 years of relevant full-stack software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with core Java and Spring Boot and experience delivering and supporting enterprise software applications.
- Hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, microservices, API design, event-driven architecture, and Kafka or equivalent technologies.
- Experience integrating commercial or open large language models such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, or Llama.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive UI fundamentals, structured outputs, JSON handling, Git, code reviews, testing, and technical documentation.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience includes financial services or regulated industries, Spring AI, streaming or chat interfaces, MCP tool integration, RAG applications, guardrails, and secure AI engineering practices.
- Knowledge of general AI and large language model concepts, Linux, containers, production monitoring, and Agile or SAFe delivery practices.
- Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration across technology and business teams.
