Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IAM applications and scalable automation using AWS, Azure, Teleport, and Terraform.
- Drive IAM initiatives end to end, including requirements definition, architecture, implementation, rollout, and operationalization.
- Design secure access models and role assignment patterns across cloud platforms, Kubernetes, SaaS applications, and internal systems.
- Build observability for access changes through SIEM logging, metrics, and repeatable reporting.
- Develop and improve user access review processes and solutions while reducing approver burden through automation.
- Identify high-risk permissions and misuse paths, develop mitigations and controls, and drive adoption with partner teams.
- Create procedures, runbooks, and automation to standardize access decisions and reduce dependence on tribal knowledge.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining IAM products or tools.
- Experience writing production-ready scalable software, Infrastructure as Code, and reliable automation using AI coding tools.
- Strong knowledge of IAM practices including least privilege, privilege escalation paths, separation of duties, breakglass access, and auditability.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- US citizenship is preferred.
