Responsibilities
- Develop 5G baseband architecture, functionality, and physical-layer features focused on uplink receiver signal processing.
- Write optimized, threaded embedded software in C for multi-core environments.
- Maintain and improve the quality of the L1 baseband product.
- Create and execute unit tests and multi-component tests.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide customer support.
- Drive continuous product and process improvements.
- Participate in early-stage studies and transform requirements into L1 implementations.
Requirements
- Experience developing embedded software and programming in C.
- Knowledge of wireless systems such as 2G, 3G, 4G, WiMAX, or WiFi.
- Knowledge of unit testing.
- Knowledge of Arduino or Raspberry Pi programming.
- BSc-level education in a technical discipline or equivalent knowledge; MSc is preferred.
- English-language skills.
- Assembly, Python, C++, Erlang, MATLAB, multi-core processor programming, real-time embedded systems, and signal processing experience are preferred.
