Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the Shop member experience with Next.js and React.
- Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance interfaces for offer discovery, cashback, and rewards.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST and GraphQL services and internal identity systems.
- Contribute to shared design systems and component libraries.
- Optimize frontend performance and reliability, including Core Web Vitals and rendering strategy, for peak shopping traffic.
- Use AI tooling across implementation, testing, and code review while validating its output.
- Protect member data security and privacy on the client.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Application, QE, API, and Infrastructure teams to deliver features end to end.
- Write well-tested code with automated tests and observability instrumentation.
- Participate in system design, code reviews, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of experience building web applications with strong frontend experience in React and Next.js.
- Proficiency with TypeScript and modern frontend tooling.
- Fluency with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot and the ability to validate their output.
- Experience delivering features end to end, including automated testing, observability, monitoring, and documentation.
- Experience with containerized, cloud-based, infrastructure-as-code ecosystems, including exposure to GCP with Docker, Kubernetes, or Nomad.
- Ability to communicate technical tradeoffs clearly and collaborate effectively.
- Preferred experience building and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs in production.
- Preferred experience with high-traffic consumer web performance optimization, design systems, component libraries, WCAG accessibility, e-commerce or loyalty domains, backend contribution, and event-driven cloud-native architectures.
