Base Salary
$125k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build Rust-based rollup nodes and sequencers for zero-knowledge-proof products.
- Design and implement blockchain protocols and secure, efficient distributed systems.
- Make pragmatic technology choices that enable rapid development without sacrificing security.
- Deploy and monitor high-uptime applications in cloud environments.
Requirements
- Fluency in Rust, C++, or a similarly performant backend language; Axiom primarily uses Rust.
- Experience deploying and monitoring highly available production applications in the cloud using Docker, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
- Experience working within a large production codebase.
- Strong engineering design skills, attention to detail, a security mindset, clear communication, and collaborative working style.
- Experience with blockchain nodes such as Geth, Reth, or similar is preferred.
- Knowledge of low-level Ethereum details is preferred.
- Experience in adversarial or security-critical environments is preferred.
