Responsibilities
- Lead and evolve the Yocto-based embedded Linux platform architecture.
- Drive BSP integration, board bring-up, kernel strategy, kernel configuration management, Device Tree architecture, and bootloader design.
- Optimize performance, boot time, footprint, reliability, and platform security.
- Define Linux kernel security, system hardening, and secure platform design approaches.
- Diagnose kernel panics, driver issues, and low-level system problems through root-cause analysis.
- Serve as the technical interface to silicon vendors and partners and provide technical leadership across platform topics.
- Apply C/C++, shell scripting, and low-level Linux expertise to software-defined vehicle platforms supporting ADAS and infotainment.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of Embedded Linux experience, including extensive hands-on Yocto experience.
- Strong expertise in the Linux kernel, U-Boot, and Device Tree, including board bring-up, kernel configuration, and Device Tree development and deployment.
- Strong knowledge of Linux kernel security features, system hardening, and security platform design.
- Experience debugging kernel panics, driver-related issues, and low-level system problems.
- Hands-on knowledge of C/C++, shell scripting, and system performance optimization.
- Experience with platform debugging, root-cause analysis, and technical leadership.
- Preferred experience owning platforms across multiple products or SoCs, including security hardening and update strategies.
- Open-source, Yocto, or AOSP contributions and automotive, industrial, or safety-critical systems experience are bonuses.
