Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and iterate on new and existing Snowdrop engine and editor systems.
- Develop C++ features for multiple platforms and different hardware capabilities.
- Evaluate performance and memory footprints while creating scalable, performance-critical solutions.
- Maintain the engine and tools by incorporating updated SDKs and middleware versions.
- Debug issues and collaborate with programmers, artists, testers, and technology users to define requirements and improvements.
- Support the development of junior team members.
Requirements
- Professional experience with C++ programming.
- Experience with performance-critical programming and strong debugging skills.
- Ability to estimate task duration accurately and understand dependencies.
- Awareness of developments in APIs and hardware.
- Knowledge of internal tools used in the video game production pipeline.
- Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders and fluent English.
