Responsibilities
- Execute small- to medium-sized reliability projects independently and progressively own end-to-end solution delivery.
- Develop scalable, maintainable, and resilient solutions that improve operational stability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, identify root causes, and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Improve platform reliability, availability, and stability through problem management and resiliency initiatives.
- Design and enhance observability capabilities including monitoring, alerting, dashboards, telemetry, SLIs, and SLOs.
- Monitor production environments, identify anomalies and trends, and proactively address operational risks.
- Reduce operational toil through automation, self-healing solutions, process optimization, and reuse-first engineering.
- Support incident, problem, and change management across applications, infrastructure, and full-stack technology services.
- Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, Product, and Operations teams on reliability-focused design decisions.
- Use approved AI and agentic capabilities for incident triage, root-cause analysis, and remediation while following data security and governance standards.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services.
- Ability to code in at least one programming language or use automation scripting.
- Familiarity with site reliability concepts, observability, monitoring, telemetry, SLIs, and SLOs.
- Familiarity with containers or server operating systems such as Linux and Windows.
- Emerging knowledge of software, applications, technical processes, cloud, artificial intelligence, or related technical disciplines.
- Emerging knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Terraform.
- Emerging knowledge of common networking technologies and large-scale on-premises or public-cloud technology environments.
- Ability to collaborate on large teams, communicate ideas, prioritize work, adapt to changing responsibilities, and participate in learning opportunities.
- Knowledge of escalation management across partner relationships.
- Preferred knowledge of Kubernetes, ITRS Active Console, Splunk, Dynatrace, and Payments Technology.
- Preferred interest in growing knowledge of AI.
