Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and utilities using Python and/or Java.
- Design and manage AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, and IAM.
- Implement infrastructure as code and automation using Terraform and Ansible.
- Build and maintain Jenkins and GitHub CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational workflows.
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability and troubleshoot production issues.
- Support and manage Kafka streaming platforms, ElastiCache/Redis, and Valikey.
- Support infrastructure for data platforms and AI/ML workloads, including GenAI/LLM systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment velocity and system efficiency.
Requirements
- 4 –7 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC.
- Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Strong experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
- Hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub.
- Experience supporting ElastiCache/Redis and Valikey.
- Preferred experience with Kafka or similar streaming systems.
- Preferred hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or similar databases.
- Preferred familiarity with OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, and Cassandra.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Java for automation or backend support is preferred.
- Preferred experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to AI/ML workloads, data pipelines, or GenAI systems is preferred.
