Responsibilities
- Build and maintain end-to-end UI and API tests for Litmus Edge Manager using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Expand automation coverage release by release, prioritizing high-risk workflows.
- Run the test suite in CI, investigate failures, and fix flaky tests.
- Maintain LEM test cases in Xray and link them to Jira for release coverage visibility.
- Review and correct AI-assisted test cases and Playwright specifications.
- Review tickets and acceptance criteria early to ensure they can be automated.
- Run automated release regression tests and report LEM and Litmus Edge integration results.
Requirements
- At least five years of software testing experience, including a minimum of three years in automation testing.
- Strong TypeScript or JavaScript skills and hands-on Playwright experience; Cypress or Selenium experience may be considered with readiness to move to Playwright.
- Experience with REST API testing and Linux.
- Hands-on experience building, snapshotting, and restoring virtual-machine test environments.
- Experience running automated tests in a CI/CD pipeline and using a test management tool such as Xray.
- Experience with AI-assisted test generation or other AI tooling for QA is preferred.
- Docker, Kubernetes, industrial IoT, edge or device-management experience, and performance testing with JMeter or similar are preferred.
