Responsibilities
- Analyze change requests and requirements to identify impacted test scenarios.
- Conduct requirement-analysis sessions, design test matrices and approaches, and lead stakeholder walkthroughs.
- Coordinate support teams and test data readiness for end-to-end testing.
- Automate API, web, and mobile test scripts using Appium, Java, Selenium, IntelliJ, and Rest Assured.
- Review team test scripts and ensure review comments are resolved.
- Build Jenkins pipelines and work with Jenkins, Sonar, and Checkmarx.
- Execute manual and automated tests, verify AWS logs, and investigate failures.
- Arrange defect triage and reviews with business teams, including risk acceptance discussions.
- Represent QA in management forums, raise risks, recommend mitigations, and publish QA progress reports in JIRA and WSR.
- Develop knowledge of Open Banking and support relevant banking-domain activities.
Requirements
- 6 to 10 years of experience in software testing.
- At least 5 years of API and web automation testing experience using Java, Selenium, IntelliJ, and Rest Assured.
- Knowledge of mobile, API, and web automation scripting.
- Knowledge of JIRA, Jenkins, GitHub, SQL, software testing processes, and testing standards.
- Ability to communicate problem statements effectively.
- Banking domain knowledge is preferred.
