Base Salary
$230k - $390k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop primitives and architecture for steerable, verifiable, conversational, and empathetic AI agents
- Build retrieval systems that ground responses in customer knowledge bases and handle ambiguity or clarification
- Create agent quality evaluation systems and tools for customers to improve agent quality
- Improve chat agents for phone use, including lifelike conversations and low latency
- Build simulation and benchmarking platforms for testing agents against real-world scenarios
- Develop intuitive no-code content management tools for guiding and testing AI agents
- Adapt software development practices for non-deterministic AI agents, natural-language interactions, and large language models
- Accelerate agent creation with generative development tools and investigate self-improving systems based on interactions, feedback, and self-play
- Build and ship full-stack product solutions with strong customer impact
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience building production products and systems
- Experience building and shipping full-stack solutions
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Passion for frontier AI products and motivation to drive outcomes in a high-autonomy environment
- Preferred experience building AI-powered products
- Preferred sharp eye for design
- Preferred experience with Go and TypeScript
- Preferred experience building developer tooling, programming languages, or databases
- Preferred leadership experience on technical projects or teams
