Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Conduct security assessments of mobile applications, IoT hardware and firmware, compiled software, and browser extensions.
- Perform reverse engineering, vulnerability analysis, malware analysis, and penetration testing.
- Analyze PE, ELF, and Mach-O binaries, runtime behavior, CPU architectures, and low-level data.
- Use emulation and analysis tools to identify and verify vulnerabilities.
- Capture and analyze network traffic and proprietary protocols.
- Develop mitigation strategies and risk profiles for identified vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to improve product resilience.
- Document findings and communicate security recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Maintain product inventories, security assessment statuses, secure configuration requirements, bill-of-material repositories, and analytical procedure guides.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in software exploitation, reverse engineering, malware analysis, or a related field.
- Proficiency with debuggers, decompilers, and disassemblers across ARM and RISC-V architectures.
- Strong knowledge of PE, ELF, and Mach-O binary formats.
- Experience with QEMU, Verilog, Linux loaders, binary packing, BusyBox, binwalk, and u-boot.
- Experience capturing and analyzing network traffic with tools such as tcpdump and Scapy.
- Experience with BOM enumeration and CycloneDX for inventory and risk assessment.
- Preferred experience in cybersecurity research, security assessment, application security testing, static and dynamic analysis, cryptographic principles, secure coding, security assessment frameworks, compliance standards, and radio signal analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
