$221k - $299k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive significant end-to-end technology initiatives across horizontal architectural layers.
- Design and implement durable, scalable, secure, highly available software solutions for customer problems.
- Build AI-native applications and guide where AI is appropriate based on its value and limitations.
- Develop LLM prompt and tool-description engineering, agent orchestration, and structured-content contracts for accounting workflows.
- Use evaluation tools to validate solution accuracy and prevent regressions.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to influence customer solutions and technology direction.
- Accelerate engineers and contribute to solutions beyond the primary area of ownership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience developing systems or software for large business environments.
- 7+ years of experience designing complex distributed systems, management products, or business applications.
- Full-stack development experience applying AI technologies and tools to user experiences or backend solutions.
- At least 1 year of prior experience on teams that built AI-native applications.
- Experience with AI technologies such as SageMaker, Vert.x, LangChain, large language models, prompt engineering, DialogFlow, and Python.
- Experience with frontend technologies such as React or Angular and backend technologies such as Java, TypeScript, Spring, or Express/Node.js.
- Experience in a cloud computing environment such as AWS or GCP is highly desired.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related area.
- Explicit experience coding with ChatGPT and Claude, including custom plugins or applications.
- Ability to drive outcomes and collaborate with numerous stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment.

- Expected base pay range: Mountain View $220,500-$298,500.
