$221k - $299k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate AI-driven features into QuickBooks financial management tools.
- Build and enhance conversational AI experiences that help customers solve problems, gain insights, and make financial decisions.
- Collaborate with AI specialists, Product Management, and Experience Design teams to understand user needs and deliver product features.
- Participate in planning, coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring across the full development lifecycle.
- Research AI and machine learning technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Identify process and technology improvements that increase team efficiency and product quality.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to peers.
- Serve as a technical expert, resolve complex challenges, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or another major programming language.
- Demonstrated experience with AI or machine learning technologies.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and experience with Agile methodologies and tools.
- Experience developing, testing, and deploying scalable, highly available services or applications in a cloud environment.
- Experience collaborating with product management and design teams to define, scope, and prioritize product features.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

- Expected base pay range: $220,500-$298,500.
