Base Salary
$110k - $135k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Platform Engineering to remediate security vulnerabilities in cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Triage and prioritize vulnerability findings from security scanning tools.
- Harden container images and Kubernetes configurations by implementing security best practices.
- Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines to prevent insecure configurations.
- Develop and maintain secure infrastructure-as-code templates and modules.
- Provide guidance on secure development practices and support knowledge-sharing activities.
- Collaborate with Security Operations to investigate and respond to security incidents.
- Build automation to accelerate vulnerability remediation.
- Contribute to security documentation and remediation guides.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering with a security focus.
- Proficient in building automation using scripting languages like Python or Shell.
- Strong experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools, including GitHub Actions or GitLab Pipelines.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
