Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, documented ETL/ELT pipelines using T-SQL, Python, Azure Data Factory or Fabric Data Pipelines, and Databricks.
- Design relational and lakehouse models, Fabric OneLake shortcuts, medallion-style layers, and dimensional or semantic models for Power BI.
- Build automated data-quality checks, lineage, and observability metrics, and contribute to CI/CD workflows in Azure DevOps or GitHub.
- Gather client requirements, demonstrate iterative deliverables, document technical designs, and communicate complex concepts to nontechnical audiences.
- Research new capabilities, share findings internally, and contribute to reusable data-engineering accelerators.
- Collaborate with clients, solution architects, analysts, and internal stakeholders to implement scalable data solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2–3 years of experience delivering production data solutions, preferably in consulting or client-facing environments.
- Strong T-SQL skills for data transformation and performance tuning.
- Python experience for data wrangling, orchestration, or notebook-based development.
- Hands-on ETL/ELT experience with at least one Microsoft service, such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines, or Fabric Data Pipelines.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Lakehouses, Data Pipelines, Notebooks, Warehouse, and Power BI DirectLake.
- Familiarity with Databricks, Delta Lake, or comparable lakehouse technologies is preferred.
- Exposure to DevOps, YAML pipelines, Terraform or Bicep, and test automation frameworks is preferred.
- Experience integrating SaaS or ERP sources such as Dynamics 365, Workday, or Costpoint is preferred.
