Responsibilities
- Design, build, automate, and maintain DevOps platforms for AI, ML, agentic, and traditional applications.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Develop infrastructure automation, configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, deployment frameworks, and operational standards.
- Deploy, monitor, optimize, and support AI/ML workloads, LLM-based applications, agentic systems, RAG platforms, and GPU-based infrastructure.
- Implement MLOps practices including model deployment, versioning, monitoring, rollback strategies, and lifecycle management.
- Operate Copart’s internal AI stack and evaluate, customize, and deploy AI coding agents and custom agents.
- Deploy and support Python-based, Java-based, and AI applications, including workflows built with n8n.
- Provide production support, incident response, root cause analysis, release support, maintenance activities, and reliability improvements.
- Develop runbooks and documentation while improving observability, alerting, system health monitoring, capacity management, and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, AI, IT Security, architecture, and business stakeholders on requirements, solution design, and infrastructure planning.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or infrastructure engineering roles.
- Proven experience supporting production applications in enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker containerization, Linux system administration, Python application deployment and operations, CI/CD automation, infrastructure automation, and configuration management.
- Experience deploying and supporting AI, ML, or agentic applications in production.
- Experience operating GPU-based infrastructure for AI workloads and applying MLOps concepts and practices.
- Experience with AI model deployment, monitoring, operational support, production releases, maintenance activities, and incident management.
