Responsibilities
- Implement test automation practices across the software team.
- Establish quality standards, quality strategy, quality gates, and KPI monitoring.
- Prepare test cases, test plans, test reports, and other test activity documentation using Xray.
- Define test data and configuration sets.
- Configure software, hardware, and virtualization test environments.
- Tailor, develop, and execute automated test scripts using data-driven development.
- Develop and maintain mocks and stubs across software, hardware, and virtual environments.
- Collaborate with developers and project quality engineers.
- Troubleshoot problems, isolate defects, and track issues.
- Integrate automated test scripts with DevOps engineers on CI/CD systems.
- Maintain data sets and configurations.
- Participate in requirements analysis and define project-level test specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Active CREA registration.
- Fluent English for collaboration with a global team.
- Experience with Python and testing tools for web applications.
- Good understanding of QA best practices, including test scenario management and reporting tools.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Xray.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams using Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to OPC UA, Profibus, Modbus RTU, and Modbus TCP industrial protocols, platforms, and APIs.
- Understanding of Hardware in the Loop and Software in the Loop.
- Exposure to configuration management tools covering version control, bug tracking, change management, automated builds, and coding standards.
- Basic knowledge of monitoring and observability tools is a plus.
