Responsibilities
- Own and design the end-to-end regression testing strategy and framework across platform components and enterprise environments.
- Translate technical success metrics and evaluation criteria into measurable, automatable acceptance criteria.
- Define test coverage for ingestion, search, tracing, audit trails, alerting, Infrastructure as Code deployments, load, scalability, failure injection, security, and compliance scenarios.
- Design automation architecture and select appropriate testing approaches and tooling.
- Establish regression suites that continuously validate sprint deliverables.
- Own test environment strategy and test data management across product versions and environments.
- Define and execute performance, functional, security, scalability, and reliability validation approaches.
- Validate that Infrastructure as Code deployments are reproducible and meet acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to align testing with the platform architecture.
- Track testing progress, risks, defects, and quality status throughout the development lifecycle.
- Provide quality reporting and recommendations during sprint reviews and stakeholder discussions.
- Own quality gates and provide sign-off recommendations before formal acceptance.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in Test Architecture, Quality Engineering, QA Automation, QA Engineering, QA leadership, or similar technical quality roles.
- Proven experience leading testing strategy for distributed, data-intensive, infrastructure-heavy, or observability-related systems.
- Deep experience designing regression testing frameworks and automation strategies covering functional, performance, and security validation.
- Experience validating performance, scalability, security, reliability, and other non-functional requirements.
- Strong understanding of modern observability concepts, distributed systems, and log and metrics pipelines.
- Working knowledge of OpenTelemetry.
- Working knowledge of AWS-based infrastructure sufficient to design meaningful technical test cases.
- Experience validating Infrastructure as Code deployments and working with Terraform-deployed environments.
- Experience with load, scale, and performance testing.
- Experience defining test strategies, environments, and test data across multiple environments or product versions.
- Experience defining formal acceptance criteria, quality gates, and Definition of Done.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Preferred experience testing observability, logging, monitoring, tracing, telemetry, ERP, or other complex enterprise platforms.
- Preferred experience with audit trail integrity, failure injection, resilience testing, compliance-oriented or security-sensitive platforms, high-volume data ingestion, performance benchmarking, and client-facing technical engagements.
